Personal Info	G. Kristian Kampfer studied political science and law inter alia at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. During his two years of practical legal training he worked for the Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU and visited the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. His career includes a traineeship at the United Nations in Nairobi (in the field of capacity building). He furthermore contributed to the work of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany as a desk officer during the EU Presidency 2007 (in the field of EU Press - and Public Relations work). He is currently active as a University Lecturer at the Universität Potsdam (in the field of federalism) and is assisting as a ZEI-expert in the Twinning Project "Support of the installation of Moroccan competition authorities" in Rabat, Morocco. (Twinning-Project in Morocco) In addition he is working on his main research project for a postdoctoral lecture qualification under the supervision of ZEI-Director Prof. Ludger Kühnhardt. It deals with the topic „Regional Integration Systems in Africa “. A detailed CD is available here.
