Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office):
The Master of European Studies at ZEI was founded in 1998 in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) and the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. MES at Bonn University is one of only four MES programs in Germany that cooperate with the Auswärtige Amt. Once a year, students of these four German Master programs meet in Berlin to discuss current political issues with high-ranking diplomats of the Foreign Office.
