The curriculum comprises 384 hours of basic and specialized modules. The program is arranged in an interdisciplinary way. This meets the need for aspiring young professionals, with high potential and a generalist top quality education. Students take modules in
- Political Science, where the focus is on contemporary political issues in Europe, especially as they pertain to the wider spectrum of integration theories, as well as the institutional and policy development of the European Union since the ratification of the Treaties of Rome;
- Economics, which covers the economic, monetary and financial aspects of the EU, and includes analyses of the Union's internal market against the backdrop of economic globalization, and the international trade regime;
- Law, which deals with the constitutional principles of the European Community, the sources and application of EU law, as well as the legal structure of the internal market and the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice and other EU institutions.
All participants attend 7 basic modules of 24 hours each and 18 specialized modules of 12 hours each. Basic modules provide students with a general knowledge and an overview of the subject matter. Specialized modules provide detailed knowledge on issues of special importance. |
