PLAN YOUR FUTURE

MERNI is devoted to educating future leaders in regulation through a rigorous training program covering the economic, legal and policy aspects pertaining to the regulation of network industries in the context of European economic integration. The program constitutes an innovative response to the challenges facing contemporary network industries, bringing together the best from academia and day-to-day regulation to create a unique learning environment.

MERNI serves the increasing demand for highly skilled regulatory professionals which results from the processes of liberalisation spurred by the European Community. In cooperation with leading network industry actors, public authorities and academic partners, MERNI provides its participants with the know-how, legal and management skills that are indispensable for a successful career both in private and public sectors alike, be it network companies, consultancies, financial institutions, regulatory authorities or industry and consumer associations.

We would be delighted to make you part of the MERNI experience. Those eligible to apply are all graduates of an institution of higher education, and particularly those holding a degree in law, economics, engineering, IT or political sciences. The University of Bonn, after successful completion of the program, bestows upon all MERNI graduates the degree of Master of European Regulation of Network Industries and awards the title Master of Laws (LL.M.).

You can find out more about the program by choosing the corresponding tab on the left-hand side, consulting a brief overview of key features or contacting us by using the contact data.

MERNI has established a partnership with a Chair Management of Network Industries (MIR) at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The partnership aims at setting up an Executive Master Program in European Regulation of Network Industries (E-MERNI). This will be a business-orientated continuing education program in the field of network industry regulation in Europe and beyond. More information on the E-MERNI program will be available on this website in the near future.

The Program has been accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).
