Funding Opportunities

In today's knowledge economy, the difference between success and failure, between being ahead of and part of the flock is determined by the right amount of specialist knowledge, paired with perspective and a sense of direction in managing regulatory strategy.

MERNI provides such knowledge at a very competitive price, because we believe that excellent educational opportunities should remain accessible to everyone. Given the far-reaching implications of regulatory leadership for tomorrow's society, it is imperative to match excellent minds with excellent educational opportunities.
We encourage prospective applicants to seek out funding sources, such as national loan programs or private funding schemes. Foreign applicants may seek support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). German applicants may consider the option of taking out a loan under the Bildungskredit financing scheme (above). Please note that the process of awarding the scholarships might take up to one year hence a very timely application is imperative.

Haniel ScholarshipThe Haniel Stiftung is a non-profit foundation founded by Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH in 1988. The foundations philosophy is to promote the commitment to achieve and the courage to make entrepreneurial decisions in a socially responsible manner. The Foundation aims at helping young people to expand their horizons beyond their home country and above all to gain a greater awareness of the European identity. The guiding principle for the creation of specific programs and projects is a consistent international and practice-based focus. Two priority regions for the scholarship programs are central eastern Europe and Asia. Thus, by means of the Go West Scholarship Program the foundation supports applicants from outside Germany (predominantly from China and central eastern Europe) who wish to pursue their studies in Germany.
